Job Description:
The GCI Asia Pacific team is looking for a committed and enthusiastic intern to support on-going projects and initiatives. This internship provides you with excellent exposure to corporate social innovation and responsibility. You will have the opportunities to gain insight into:
• A spectrum of health-focused corporate social impact work, from foundation grantmaking processes to new innovative financing and impact investing work
• Approaches to leverage employees’ talent to support local and regional community initiatives
• Partnership mobilization internally and externally to create and scale social impact You will be involved in key responsibilities including:
• Organizing local and regional events such as annual Asia Pacific GCI Summit and quarterly regional GCI meetings – both online and offline
• Supporting critical internal systems and processes e.g. contracting, procurement and healthcare compliance
• Preparing compelling documents and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Tracking, maintaining, and analyzing program information and data to support strategic planning and measure the impact that Johnson & Johnson is creating for communities Global Community Impact Asia Pacific 2
• Reviewing program reports to extract key outcomes, results and impact for reporting and learning
• Developing and designing communication products such as newsletters, short articles, and case studies to champion engagements to increase program awareness and participation
• Conducting research and analysis on a variety of topics that GCI champions, ranging from specific in-depth country study to regional compilation of data and figures
Our internship duration is from January to June 2023 with some flexibility in timeframe for the right candidate. Do you have:
• A strong interest in working towards social impact
• A proven ability to collaborate and work in a team
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Proficiency in relevant software (Microsoft Office: Excel and PowerPoint in particular)
• A flexible approach and demonstrated pro-active, problem-solving attitude?
