Digital transformation is underway and we need support in data science to unlock the potential of their Research and Organization (R&D) organization involving chemical formulation in the areas of skin health, self-care & etc.
Job Description
· Responsible to work with R&D business stakeholders and data scientists, architect and engineers for rapid building of predictive, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) and optimization prototypes that derive actionable insights from data to drive decision-making, as part of the Agile team
o Identify, profile, analyze and present the data discovery output for AI/ML projects
o Develop data ingestion pipeline and prepare the data assets (including data cleaning) for data science (e.g. AI/ML) projects
o Perform and, where possible automate, data wrangling and feature engineering for ML model to increase the reusability of codes generated
o Train and/or deploy predictive model/AI/ML/optimization model
· Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
Required Key Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cheminformatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Bioinformatics with 1-3 years of experiences in software application development involving small and high volume of data for Predictive/AI/ML/Optimization model development and deployment to achieve business impact
Good understanding of statistical inference concept including statistical hypothesis testing and machine learning training and inference techniques including those from k-NN, Naïve Byes, SVM and etc
Good understand of the state-of-the-art deep learning models including transformers
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and Shell Script
Experience in cloud computing platform including Azure Synapse
Experience with agile software development and productivity tools including Jira, Git and Confluence
Experience working in a R&D environment where there are high-level of ambiguities and unfamiliar scenarios
