Summary
The Program Manager is Primarily responsible to lead and coordinate projects that are assigned to him/her. Key areas of responsibilities are to utilize project management models to manage the execution of projects to target timelines and coordinate with all internal and external functional groups to meet project objectives.
Secondary responsibilities will be to coordinate management reviews such as Bi-Weekly APAC Deliver LT as well as Monthly APAC Deliver MBR.
Key Responsibilities:
Projects:
§ Support the project management of key APAC Deliver projects
§ Organize and lead project core team meetings. Maintain effective communication and working relationships among project core team.
§ Work with cross-functional team members to assess feasibility of project scope & FPO and develop detailed project timeline to ensure that there is sufficient flexibility and contingency in the plan to respond to unanticipated difficulties.
§ Assign, define schedules and track cross-functional tasks/activities to ensure that project progress within expected timings.
§ Lead risk analysis & mitigation planning for projects.
§ Identify, monitor, communicate and resolve issues, scope changes, budget variances or other FPO hurdles that may arise during the project execution.
§ Interface with regional and/or worldwide cross functional teams to obtain project relevant information.
§ Ensure compliance against stage gate exit deliverables and endorse compliant projects for stage gate exit approval.
§ Prepare and present project progress reports & presentations as required.
Programs:
§ Coordinate with the APAC Deliver LT on scheduling and reporting for the Bi-Weekly meeting. Identify and manage focus topics for discussions.
§ Manage repoting and content preparation for Monthly Business Review with VP, Global Deliver. Coordinate with all APAC stakeholders on timely preparation of KPIs, Finance report, Project updates and other relevant topics for discussions.
Qualifications & Experience and Skills Required:
§ Degree with minimum 10 years of experience in a Supply Chain operational role
§ Proven track record of strong delivery in projects, from implementation to execution in a fairly sizeable and complex environment
§ Ability to lead, motivate, influence and supervise cross-functional teams
§ Problem-solving and decision-making skills
§ Strong analytical and organizational skills; can work with details
§ Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to changes and meet deadlines
§ Results-oriented and able to independently create and deliver
§ Superior follow-up skills to ensure that actions are completed and issues are resolved in a timely manner
§ Project Management Certification
§ Experience with Value Stream Mapping
§ Familiar with Network Mapping
§ 6-sigma Green Belt or other LEAN practices certification is preferrable
