Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Innovation (JJI) is recruiting an experienced professional to manage the strategic marketing efforts of JLABS across Singapore.

Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS (JLABS) is the largest global network of open innovation ecosystems, enabling and empowering emerging companies with the knowledge, experience, partnerships, and venture connections across a broad healthcare spectrum including pharmaceutical, medtech and health tech sectors. Our goal is to catalyze and accelerate the delivery of lifesaving, life-enhancing solutions to patients around the world. JLABS is a no-strings-attached model, which means innovators are free to develop their science and technology while holding on to their intellectual property.

The Strategic Marketing Specialist supports the design, development, and implementation of the strategic marketing plan to support JLABS Singapore’s business, sourcing and reputation priorities, in alignment with regional priorities for JJI.

This role is a contract position and reports to the Strategic c Marketing  Associate Director of JLABS Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Support strategic marketing initiatives for JLABS Singapore in support of business targets, including leading and implementing site-specific strategy, goals, objectives and plans, inclusive of programming, marketing, and sponsorships.

·       Maintain regional marketing team’s calendar of programs/events, editorial calendar and management of the supporting infrastructure such as event management systems, governance and approvals, KPI tracking, etc.

·       Responsible for all elements of event execution including catering, speaker coordination, invitations, attendance, room set-up, AV.   

·       Responsible for engaging the site portfolio to grow brand affinity and secure portfolio content to be utilized in the strategic engagement plan.

·       Support the vision, mission, and engagement strategy led by the Regional Head to attract high potential, strategically aligned companies and drive value for current portfolio companies.

 

Detailed Tactics:

·       Support the lead generation process designated by the Strategic Marketing Manager and Strategic Marketing Associate Director to support the growth of the JLABS portfolio in the region.

·       Support for the regional JLABS marketing including posting of events on social media, cross promotion with partners, targeted LinkedIn internal and external posts, communication of internal events and follow up. This includes the execution of the strategic e-marketing communications plan and schedule to ensure optimal attendance results.

·       Conduct administrative and due diligence protocols for marketing-related initiatives through  J&J’s Healthcare Compliance platform called GOEX, overseeing cross-functional approvals from legal, compliance, privacy, subject matter experts and business leaders as needed; ; support campaign wrap-ups by ensuring close-out check-list is completed.

·       Lead event logistics such as booking venues, obtaining permits and licenses, if needed, certificate of insurance, managing event setup and catering, coordinate event calendar entries, coordinate event setup with various teams (catering, security, janitorial, AV, operations) and calendar management.

·       Lead event speaker engagement including scheduling, collection of speaker materials and slide decks.

·       Manage attendee lists and badge production, survey creation, and event recaps, report final lists.

·       Develop event materials such as: agendas, invitations, social media content, key visuals, presentations, briefings, talking points.

·       Support JJI presence at regional conferences (sponsorship, speaking engagements, event planning, advertisements, booth, speakers, etc.) and complying to J&J policies and governance protocols.

·       Engage onsite JLABS resident community through coordination of social and networking events and regular communications of relevant JLABS and external community activities

  • Support JLABS corporate identity regionally through internal and external work (electronic and hardcopy newsletters, intranets, external websites, external brochures, presentations, social media channels, SOPs, etc.)

·       Support administrative financial processes: Procurement, purchase orders, tracking invoices and spends, budgeting, etc.

 

Qualifications & Experience and Skills Required:

·       Bachelor of business/science in marketing or related field with minimum of 3 years in brand management, marketing, or related field

·       Must be proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

·       Exceptional content marketing and strong writing skills with strong attention to detail

·       Experienced event planning and production skills

·       Ability to work in a multi-faceted organization with cross-functional team members to ensure compliance and delivery of effective campaign/project outcomes.

·       Strong familiarity with variety of digital tools and approaches to drive business results

·       Must be able to organize work towards deadlines and priorities on a daily basis

·       Ability to manage budgets and financial forecasts
