We are looking for a ProjectManagement Specialist who will be responsible for the management of key projects, achieving the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope. The Lead Project Specialistreports to the Head of Design.

 

  

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to plan and manage several moderatescale, high-priority projects.
    • Develop briefs with internal stakeholders
    • Work with the team to ensure project specifications are accurate
    • Plan project schedules
    • Guide and facilitate project teams through the Design project workflow
    • Keep teams updated on all deliverymilestones and ensure coordination of delivery
    • Ensure that activities are properly completedfor each assigned milestone
    • Highlight any issues and strive to resolve them
    • Manage the finances of projects and ensure project administration and billing is kept up to date
    • Support project team in ensuring that project information (such as scope, goals, resourceanalyses) are properly documented and archived in the portfoliodatabase
  • Develop strong positive relationships with peer groups and key stakeholders within Design and external partners
  • Share, teach, and integratebest practice PMO tools and systems to help improve project team effectiveness and efficiency
  • Maintain portfoliomanagement database for data completeness and accuracy
    • Analyze portfolio data to create reports and dashboards for Head of Design

o Push project status summaries up to Design Leadership, so they are aware of portfolio 


 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, with 5-6 years experience required,with combined experiencein one or more of the followingfunctional areas preferred: digital development (apps / websites), brand and marketing, IT, research and development, innovation, and/or operational function.
    • An individual with direct experience in new product development through launch for consumer products, pharma or medical device
    • Experience managing projects using Microsoft Projectand any other work managementtools required
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Project Management Training (Waterfall and Agile), Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and / or ProductLifecycle Management practicesfor large-scale projectsis strongly preferred
