Description:
The Marketing Manager will define the strategic directions and 3-year marketing plan, guide brand strategy and international brand positioning and contribute to the growth of the brand in travel retail channel.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Define strategic directions and marketing plan, guide portfolio choices and priorities
- Lead the marketing mix strategics across channels (social media, online, offline)
- Manage the budget (profitability of the brand, price strategy, sales forecast)
- Build marketing launch calendar for Travel Retail APAC with an integrated approach with China local market plan
- Develop end to end trade marketing strategies across APAC
- Plan and execute the brand’s digital marketing strategy, design an editorial calendar of engagement content, monitor digital performance and consumer engagement
- Lead 360 brand campaigns and activations to support product launches as well as core lines
- Ensure perfect execution in store of the marketing and retail strategy (merchandising, planogram, customer service) in the point of sales
- Drive brand awareness and conversion (paid media, influencer partnerships, retailer e-commerce, Chinese social media platforms)
- Manage top and bottom lines to ensure brand achieve sales targets as well as GP and OP targets
- Handle Trade PR and communications
- Collaborate with other cross functional teams (brand teams, local marketing teams) to build an integrated, engaging consumer brand experience in the Travel Retail channel
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing or related discipline with 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Research and market data analysis, highly analytical; financial knowledge (P&L, expansion analysis, sales forecasts)
- Travel retail experience a plus
