Program Manager (IT Infrasture projects)

(1-Year Contract role, high potential to renew/ convert)

 

 

High-level Overview

This Program Manager will be working with business groups to migrate applications from different platforms like Ali Cloud, AWS, and on-premises to the new Azure CSL Certified platform. They will need good program management skills, knowledge of Agile, experience in managing application migrations. 

 

Key responsibilities include supporting:

  • Identifying Program Governance
  • Identify technical requirements
  • Scope management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Risk and issue management
  • Status reporting
  • Change request management
  • Action and decision management
  • Resource management
  • Schedule management

 

Key activities include:

  • Support daily and weekly status meetings with workstream project managers, and partner with project managers to manage timelines and deliverables, and resolve risks and mitigate issues
  • Support identification of risks and risk remediation action steps, facilitate escalations, and navigate through challenges that may impact on time, on budget completion of initiatives
  • Develop accurate communications, presentations, and status reports, including concerns, needs, or program gaps to leadership
  • Work with Sector leads/Application owners and supporting technology teams to ensure scope and requirements are clearly defined and executed upon in compliance with Legal
  • Provide additional project management activities needed to support the key initiatives defined 
  • Schedule and attend ad hoc meetings, as necessary

  • Executive status presentations
  • Risk & issue register
  • Actions and decisions register
  • Meeting minutes
  • Change logs
  • Resource plan

 

 

Requirements

  • Min Degree in any field with 10-15 years Program Manager experience, technical background a plus (IT infrastructure projects)
  • PMP certification 
  • Risk management and resolution
  • Attend regional meetings
  • Lead/Facilitate Daily scrum/Weekly status meetings
  • Track progress in MPP and share meeting notes
  • Use of Kanban, Jira, Confluence
  • SDLC methodologies (Agile)
